3RD ANNUAL BALTIMORE
KISS EXPO 2003
The first weekend of October is usuall spent down at the Fells Point Festival here in Baltimore. However, for the past three years it has not been the only party in town. The 3rd Annual Baltimore Kiss Expo was held at the Pikesville Hilton on Sunday October 5th 2003. The the festivities kicked off on Friday the 3rd at Thunderdome with the tribute band KISS NATION performing in full costume.
The expo continued on Sunday with a special Vip only session an hour before the general public was allowed in. A cool Q & A with Anton Fig (drummer For Ace Freely and now on the Late Show with David Letterman) got all the Ace Freely lovers in a better mood. Tribute band Shock Me performed as the headliner along with SSG and Loaded Deck for the crowd in attendance.
Many of the fans attending the expo came in full costume, face paint or wore there KISS ARMY gear. Plently of vendoers were on hand with vintage and new Kiss memorbilia for sale. It is a good place to come and hang out with family and friends or to make new ones.
The founder of this expo George says that he will continue to do this as along as we show up... I will diffentely be there next year. Are You?
